Future Bridge over Mine Run

By December 23, 2022General

We are at the time of the year where the creek crossings become more of a hot topic. Much like all the major projects completed over the last 5 years, they come with a significant amount of behind the scenes work and many of these projects have taken years to propose, plan, and execute.
The Mine Run creek crossing has been an active project for the last few years (and there is much work to still accomplish)! As you all would guess, this project is a very heavy lift and comes with a lot of requirements, approvals, and plans, and that is the more easily completed part.

We have been working with WW Webb and Associates, PLLC and Spotsylvania County to assess and address all the needed requirements to work towards a future bridge over Mine Run. Please know that the word ‘future’ is a relative term and we will let you know when this dream can really become a reality.

At the end of the summer, the WW Webb and Associates, PLLC team surveyed in the topo requirements to define high water marks, which is a necessary part of the process. This is one box of many to check, but our goal of expanding and enhancing our trails rests on projects like these.

Please join me in thanking WW Webb and Associates, PLLC for their efforts thus far on the Mine Run bridge project.
