Motts Run Reservoir Trail Build Workday

When: 31 July 2021 at 9:00 AM

Where: Motts Run Reservoir – Main Parking Lot off of River Road

Mission: Are you ready to help complete another brand new trail at Motts? Join us Sunday at 0900.

Logistics: Due the to the location, we will meet at the new trail site.

The trailhead is located at the red star on the map. This location is next to the stream, Mine Run and there is a new chain gate installed there.If you are biking to the site, please ride the mountain bike trail to the site.
If you are hiking, please walk the hiking trail (Mine Run Trail) to the site.The hike will take about 30 minutes or so to reach the site. Please hike the Mine Run Trail to the site.The bike will take about 10 minutes or so to reach the site. Please ride the Snufalapagus Trail and Reservoir Trail to the site.

We will begin work at 0900.

If you get to the gate next to Mine Run and no one is there, make your way to the top of the hill behind the gate and follow the trail to the right.

Safety: All volunteers MUST sign our waiver prior to working. This is when you will pick up your sweet FredTrails sticker. Please wear sturdy boots or shoes, wear gloves, and bring water. Always be mindful of your neighbor when swinging or using hand tools.

Attendance: Please let us know if you WILL attend this event. Since we are also VOLUNTEERS, this really helps us create a solid work plan!
