Last workday on the newest 2.4 mile trail at Motts. Our goal is to address the two (2) remaining crossings with rocks, gravel, and erosion control pavers. Additionally, we will install erosion control pavers on a muddy corner on the trail. Lastly, a large tree has fallen and exposed a huge hole on the trail tread, we will work to fix/fill the hole to maintain the integrity of the trail without doing a re-route.
We will install erosion control pavers these at the areas on the map depicted with the red circles. Using our powered wheelbarrow (Thanks Trek!), we will transport the pavers to the project sites. The yellow circle represents the location of the downed tree and damaged trail tread.
We will divide up as necessary to complete the projects.
